a clean slate

A flyer that's going around town:

Are you tired of hearing about corruption and mismanagement at the Port of Astoria?

Clatsop County needs you to come to the opening meeting of

Clean Slate

a group of concerned citizens seeking to:

• Rid the port of further abuses through replacing a majority of commissioners this election cycle.
• Regain the public trust through transparency of administration.
• Administer our county assets for the benefit of the public and not the personal profit of the commissioners and their friends.

If you want to know what is going on, if you want a change of leadership at the port, if you might consider running as a candidate, please attend.

Nota bene: Due to the sorry state of blog/forum comments made by a few anarcho-libertarian cryptofascists that have basically ruined all attempts at dialog in our locale, Burning Corn and Associates have a new policy; if you want to make comments, include your real name and an email address where I can contact you. I'll confirm that you are who you say you are, and they'll be posted. Or email me, and we'll discuss why this is necessary. I hate to go moderated, but if people can't behave responsibly, there it is.
Best Regards, Burning Corn Management
